The 2026 season will commence on Wednesday 17 June and this year we will be hosting four wonderful evenings. We will post fuller details of the programme soon, but in the meantime here is an outline – pop the dates in your diary!
Wed 17 June – Kosta Popović, cello

Montenegrin Cellist Kosta is an outstanding emerging talent, a multi-award winner who has featured on Radio 3 and in prestigious festivals in the UK and overseas. This will be an exceptional night – programme to follow.
Thu 18 June -Trio Bohémo

Trio Bohémo (Matouš Pěruška – violin, Kristina Vocetková – cello, Jan Vojtek – piano) will delight us with their award-winning chamber music. Detailed programme to follow, but meanwhile see their web site for more information.
Fri 19 June – London Tango Quintet
https://londontangoquintet.com

The London Tango Quintet is a unique group of five internationally acclaimed musicians who have been performing tango music at the highest level for nearly 20 years. The group includes guitar virtuoso Craig Ogden (Classic FM recording artist) and accordionist Miloš Milivojević (as heard on Strictly Come Dancing!). These five exceptional musicians will be performing some of the most popular works by the king of Argentinian tango Astor Piazzolla. Amongst the intoxicating rhythms and jaw-dropping virtuosity of the tango, there will be solos and duos ranging from Spanish fire to cool Parisian jazz.
Sat 20 Jun – Lizzie Ball & Miloš Milivojević

Internationally acclaimed musicians Lizzie (vocals and violin) and Miloš (classical accordion) take you on a colourful exploration of different musical flavours: Romanian folksong, blue grass toe tapping, Parisian impressionism, Balkan song and many more.
We look forwarding to welcoming you to Shaldon again in 2026 but if you need a reminder of what you heard (or missed – VOCES8 was a sell-out!) here are the reviews of our 2025 season:
