Welcome
Shaldon Festival June 2027
How to buy tickets, where to come, where to park?
Evening concerts Wednesday 16 June – Saturday 19 June
The 2027 season will commence on Wednesday 17 June and this year we will be hosting four wonderful evenings. All concerts start at 7.30pm.
More details will follow but for now here’s what we have coming up for you:
We start with the Regency String Quartet, four young, highly talented musicians who have recently won the Ensemble prize of the Royal Over Seas League.
On our second night we have Roderick Williams OBE. This renowned baritone, composer, arranger and conductor will be singing for us in a programme entitled “Voyage around Dichterliebe”, culminating in a complete performance of Robert Schumann’s most well-known song cycle. Roderick will be accompanied by pianist Anna Tilbrook who, as well as being an accomplished soloist has made a huge impact as an accompanist, having recorded with such famous singers as tenor Ian Gilchrist and soprano Lucy Crow.
Our Friday night concert features oboist Ewan Millar, Gold Medal Winner 2025 of the Royal Over Seas League and the festival will be rounded off on the Saturday by James Pearson returning after three years, this time with his Trio to give us “An Evening with Oscar Peterson”.
We look forwarding to welcoming you to Shaldon again in 2027 but if you need a reminder of what you heard, here are the reviews of our 2026 season: 2026 Archive reviews
